Hi, I'm Georgia and this is my 3 year old son Theodore.

Theodore is my pride and joy. He's full of beans and simply loves the outdoors. You'll often find us planting sunflowers or kicking a ball in the back garden, playing at the local park, or exploring a nearby forest.

Little Bears Childminding is based in East Sussex, Uckfield. We have a dedicated space inside for Theodore and his other cub friends to play as well as allowing them easy access to the back garden to enjoy those sunny days when they come.

What's included at Little Bears Childminding

At Little Bears Childminding, we like to keep things simple for busy parents. That’s why our all-inclusive daily fee of £65 (8am - 5pm) covers everything your little one needs throughout the day – no hidden extras, no last-minute shopping lists.

Here’s what’s included:

🍴 Meals & Snacks

From the first morning snack to dinner, we provide healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks to keep little tummies full and happy.

🧷 Nappies, Wipes & Toiletries

We supply nappies, wipes and all the essentials – so there’s one less thing to pack (and one less thing to worry about).

🎨 Activities & Learning Resources

Every day is thoughtfully planned with fun, age-appropriate activities that help children explore, create and learn through play.

💤 A Warm, Home-from-Home Setting

Children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment where they’re supported, known, and encouraged to thrive at their own pace.

👶 Ages we welcome

We care for babies from 9 months through to reception school age – typically up to the September before they start.

📍 Location

Little Bears Childminding is based in Uckfield, East Sussex – within easy reach for local families and commuters.

🗓️ Availability

We currently have limited spaces available from September. Government funding available term time only.

We would like to share how truly grateful we are for the time our daughter spent with you in your care. It really was a home from home. You provided loving structure and fun and engaging activities alongside the core work of keeping her safe, fed, watered and loved.

Through your careful instruction she has learnt many skills which she has continued to develop since going on to preschool. We were always so impressed by the efforts you took to provide opportunities for a range of play and activities. Many activities which we simply would not get around to at home.

You have played a foundational role in our daughter’s early development and for that we will always be grateful. We wish you every success and hope for many more children to be able to benefit from your care and guidance.
